Ranchi: Division Rail Ranchi has received an allocation for 17 projects, where nine is new, from the UNI UNI budget Nirmala Sitharaman presented in New Delhi in February 1.
The allocation is made under the PM Gati Shakti scheme intended to improve multimodal connectivity The whole country, liberation by PIB on Friday.
Clean allocation in this year’s budget for 17 train projects is Rs 1,069.48 Crores.
According to PIB statements, the Ministry of Finance of the Union has made provisions for the allocation of eight ongoing and new nine projects in the financial year of 2022-23.
The main goal is to increase multimodal connectivity where the basic railroad infrastructure is being changed.
Home officials said that the budget provisions to strengthen the train infrastructure will run away in making Ranchi train stations, customer friendly and also helps it as a commercial center in the future.
“The plan to change existing facilities is looking forward to 25 years in the future for which work to be executed starting this year,” said Raid Ranchi division officials.
Under new projects, the highest of RS 250 Crore has been allocated for updates.
The track under the Ranchi Division, followed by the allocation of RS 64 Crore for the construction of roads as high as the road (Rob) near the electric house at the Chutia gate.
The other Crore RS 54 has been allocated for the construction of Rob near Jalan Gola while Rs.22 Crore has been allocated to increase passenger facilities at 14 train stations, including for the expansion of the platform according to standards, construction.
Platform sheds at five train stations and bridge construction on two stations.
Moreover, each RS 15 Crore has been allocated for the construction of the subway at the number 36 and 44 level intersection in Suisa and Torang.
The number of Rs 2.64 Crores each has been allocated for the construction of additional platforms along with the circulatory area and an extension of the Overbridge foot at the Tangarbasli train station and the construction of a new leg bridge at the Barkipona train station.
Another Rs 2 Crore has been allocated for the installation of three lifts at the Ranchi train station.
