The shop owners were warned to use this and were given two days to pay the number of Challhan.
The team led by Secretary MC Jasdev Sekhon visited various regions.
It starts with the Main Road Field, where a shop is checked and plastic carry-bags seized.
When the shopkeeper also saves a cloth bag, the officials appreciate it because of doing it.
Two shops were checked at 16 Kutcha from the Field Ganj.
A shopkeeper argued with officials that the plastic carry bag they were discouraged from his shop was broken and he did not use it.
Sekhon tells him that they are prohibited and not allowed to be stored even if they are deformed.
The merchant issued Challan on the spot.
After this, another shop was raided in Khud Mohalla and a number of plastic carry-bag bags found there.
The team then reached the vegetable market near Vardhman in Chandigarh Road and carrying bags from there.
Vegetable vendors make officials talk to some political people, but in vain.
Seekhon said, “The confiscated carry-bag bag will be destroyed.
The shop owners have been given two days to pay their challans.
Besides that, Challans will go to court and they have to appear there.” The owner of the Kesar Ganj bath shop is a lot which is scared when the news checks reach them.
They locked their shops and stood outside, afraid of the pretty challans.
Officials said they would also find residents of Challan using a plastic carry bag.
There are provisions of Rs 2,000 Challan for Defraugters.
The drive will remain limited to the carry bag because the thermocol is not prohibited, although it is the main cause of pollution.
When the state government has issued a prohibited order for carry-bag bags, even thermocols are included in the list.
But in August 2016, the government, when issuing notification, freeing a thermocol from the prohibition.
