Chandigarh: The Government of Haryana and the Public Service Commission Haryana (HPSC) sighed with relief because of the written HCS (executive) examination and allied services carried out smoothly throughout the state on Sunday.
Examination was held in two shifts.
Providing information in this case, the official spokesperson said the Commission had advertised 155 vacancies from Haryana Civil Service (Executive Branch) & other allied services in March 2021.
The total number of 1,48,262 candidates applied to this highest post for the examination.
He added that a total of 535 inspection centers were founded by the Commission for this examination in 13 countries, namely Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, HISnal, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Panipat, Sonīpat and YamaBatagar.
He added that 74,978 candidates appeared in the exam according to the initial information available until the night of September 12, 2021.

He said the biometric presence of all candidates through slic scan was recorded.
Intensive Frisking of candidates is also carried out to ensure that no candidates carry electronic devices or other materials that can be used to violate the sanctification of the examination.
Videography of all candidates and all important processes are carried out in all centers.
He further said that to block cellular signals, Jammers was installed in all centers.
For the convenience of candidates, facilities to maintain luggage are also provided in the center.
