Ranchi: The State Health Department, medical education and family welfare will display around 1.62 lakh people between November 16 and December 12 for non-contagious diseases and lifestyles.
As part of the Central Universal Health coverage program to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of Indian independence, the Ministry of Health also mandates functional health and fitness centers throughout the Jharkhand to provide health and well-being sessions for at least 16,190 people.

The Director of the State Health Mission of Ramesh Gholap on November 13 wrote to a civil surgeon from all 24 countries and asked them to arrange screening camps for hypertension, blood pressure and three general cancers (oral, breasts and cervix) until December 12.
According to data departments, Jharkhand has 172 primary health centers, 1,396 sub-health centers and 51 primary health centers around on 30 November.
In addition to screening exercises, health centers have also been mandated to conduct antenatal examination in this period.
More than 75 lakh people throughout the country are expected to screen for hypertension, blood pressure and general cancer between November 14 and December 12 this year.
