Lucknow: The number of new Covid cases continues to fall in the state even on Sundays when 43 fresh covid patients are reported across the country.
However, one patient from Gonda surrendered to the impact.
The number of active Covid cases fell to 868 with eight districts – Aligarh, Balrampur, Basti, Ekewer, Fatehpur, Hathras, Mahaba and Shraverti-now free Covid.
The level of participants in the country is now at 0.02%.
In the last 24 hours, a sample of 2.5 lakh was tested.
The first number of covid vaccines even though it dropped to 5 lakh in the duration, following a shift in focusing on routine immunization of children on Saturday.
On Saturday, up has broken its own vaccination record with more than 10.6 lakh the first dose given that day.
The above recovery rate is consistently better since the second wave of Covid hit in April.
On April 30, there were around 3.1 lakh Covid cases with a 74% recovery rate.
Now, the recovery rate is at 98.6%.
Additional Head of Health Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad said that UP was the only country in the country who had done more than 4.43 crore vaccinations.
“It was due to aggressive up sample testing, the micro detention zone and micro management response team in the village and treatment that Covid cases were above control,” he added.
