Ajmer: A 36-year-old man died while 35 others were seriously injured when their truck traveled on a short road on Jalan Ajmer Dargah on Saturday night.
The truck carries around 45 passengers, all relatives, from Punjab’s Ludhiana.
Family, who came to Ajmer on a religious tour, was on his way to Dargah which was famous for giving prayer.
After entering the city, the truck took the path to Dargah to take advantage of parking facilities.
However, while crossing the road, which was in a hilly area, the vehicle brake failed after it was upside down.
One worshiper, identified as Mohammad Mushtak, died in place.
At least 35 others were seriously injured and rushed to the hospital Jln.
