Hyderabad: Telangana police on Tuesday arrested three after their acceleration vehicle killed a passenger traveling in a automatic rickshaw in Hyderabad.
In CCTV footage, the acceleration of upscale cars can be seen on the road near the inortbit mall in Cyberabad, crashing into a car from behind.
According to Madhapur police, the driver of the vehicle, a passenger together and the driver’s father returned from a party and was under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.
Passengers at the Autorickshaw died, while the driver suffered an injury.
“After hitting Auto, the driver of the car and his colleagues fled.
However, the police, had arrested three people including the driver, a passenger together and the father of the driver who returned from a party and was under the influence of alcohol.” The police said.
The case has been registered under Section 304 Part 2 (Culpable murder does not amount to murder), 201 and 506 of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and also below part 184, 185 of the law of motor vehicles.
