1 Haryana Butterfly Survey in the Aravalli Remari Region

Chandigarh: Haryana’s first butterfly survey in Khol Regency from Rewari Regency will be held on September 27.
The survey will be carried out by the Department of Forest and wildlife.
Drive will be carried out in 10 villages that have a stretch of Hillocks – Palra, Ahhrod, Bassdada, Khol, Manethi, Bhalki, Majra, Nandha, Balwari and Khaleta, which is about 1000 hectares.
A spokesman for the forest and wildlife departments said the survey results would help in saying management strategies for butterfly conservation.
This will also form the basis for observing the impact of habitat disorders and climate change in regional ecology, he added.
10 teams equipped with cameras, butterfly experts, forest officials, group-D employees, recorders will be formed.
Wildlife officers, officials and territorial staff will participate in this exercise.
Data about species butterfly species collected by the team will be consolidated by the Coordinator.
Formal voice Thank you with the participation certificate for all participants will be provided by the Department of Forest and wildlife.
The booklet of all species of butterflies recorded with photos and team members will also be published.
The survey results will form the basis for planning a management strategy in the future in the Aravalli region, according to a spokesman.
