Gurgaon: City crime branch on Monday caught drug vendors and recovered around 1.84 kg of opium, worth around Rs 1 Crore from his ownership.

The defendant was identified as RAM from Jodhpur, has smuggled opium from Madhya Pradesh and entered Haryana through Rajasthan.
He should have supplied him to some people in Gurgaon.
The Arvind Inspector, is responsible for the 10-sectoral crime unit, and his team receives information about his movements and in action.
“Acting on specific information about the movement of the drug seller, we arrested someone from Khedki Daula Toll Plaza on Sunday and restored a large number of opium from his ownership,” said an inspector.
According to the police, RAM has smuggled opium from Madhya Pradesh and entered Haryana through Rajasthan.
“He should supply drugs to small peddlers with significant profits,” said ACP (Crime) Preet Sangwan, added that the drug market in the retail market around Rs 1 Crore.
ACP said RAM was produced before the court on Monday and was taken to the police detention of three days.
“We will try to find out the details of the person who should receive the delivery of drugs from the defendant,” he said.
