Hyderabad: Almost a third of men and women in this country are included in the obesity category according to the latest findings from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) -5 phase 1.

Experts link this with the contribution factors such as the wrong eating habits, high consumption of junk food, lack of exercise and genetics.
The food delivery application and lack of playgrounds then encourage childhood obesity, which is then taken to adulthood.
“Increased preference for junk food, fermented food and canned food seen which resulted in a shift in eating habits.
The lack of practice in the last few days because locking has also become a contributing factor,” explained Dr.
Sanjeev Singh Yadav, Secretary, Indian Medical Association (IMA) Telangana , He added that at least 20% of cases of obesity children were brought to adulthood.
Meanwhile, obesity also has a direct correlation with diabetes and hypertension, both of which are found high among the population.
According to surveys, 18% of men and 14.7% of women have high blood sugar levels.
