Chennai: The fresh Covid-19 case in Tamil Nadu fell to 1,668 on Friday compared to 1,702 on Thursday, although 14 districts reported a marginal increase in cases.
24 deaths added to the country registry on Friday took the calculation of death to 34,663.

The last Tamil Nadu reported less than 1,700 cases on March 24.

Ramanathapuram (4) reported a few cases.
The sharpest increase between Thursday and Friday was reported by Erode, where cases rose to 158 of 147, while cases in Thanjavur fell from 112 to 98 (steepest) over the same period of time.
