Madikeri: A man was arrested and the other escape after both of them attacked dog owners in Virajpet on Monday.
Pet parents have been hospitalized with injuries suffered in attacks with cricket bats.
Brijesh, 23, a resident of Harikeri extension in Virajpet, has a pet dog.
According to neighbors, the dog often attacks occupants in the area.
On Monday, when Parashurama’s daughter played outside, the dog attacked her.
Parshurama who was angry, threw a stone to the animal to scare it.
Brijesh who saw it was charged parashurama by hurting his pet.
Immediately an argument happened that took a physical turn.
Parashurama attacked Brijesh with a beer bottle.
Neighbor’s lava joined a fight and attacked Brijesh with a cricket stick.
Brijesh has been hospitalized.
Based on his complaint, the police arrested Parahurama while lava escaped.
