Mumbai: Twelve days after a full bottle of gasoline found near the airport perimeter wall, a local resident was arrested by the police vacuo on Sunday.
Police said the defendant, Ganesh Palangkar, had no intention of threats and had done ‘damage’.
Palekar is produced before the judge’s court on Sunday and has been released on a guarantee.
Palekar said the water had entered the motorcycle fuel tank and he decided to empty the tank.
He took out the fuel mixed with water into the bottle and carelessly threw a bottle across the perimeter wall.
Palekar tells the police that he has no intention of threatening or dangerous anyone and has thrown bottles without certain reasons.
