Chandigarh: A total of 10 additional judges from the Punjab High Court and Haryana took the oath of office on Monday as a permanent judge of the High Court.
HC Judge who has become a permanent judge is justice Suvir Sehgal, Justice ALKA SARIN, Justice Singh Puri, Justice Ashok Kumar Verma, Justice Meenakshi I Mehta, Justice Karamjit Singh, Puri Justice, and Justice Rajesh Bhardwaj.
However, there was no clarity until Monday night about Justice Girish Agnihotri who futures as an additional judge ended on Monday.
The source in the Administration of the High Court confirmed that if there was no clarification regarding the extension of the term of office justice Agnihotri received before 12 in the morning, he would stop being a judge of the High Court.
