ARA: A sessions court in Bihar on Monday given the death sentence to ten individuals, including two brothers having a lengthy list of crimes behind them, such as the 2018 daytime murder of notable Ara businessman Imran Khan at a bustling market.
In a ruling delivered through videoconferencing, the courtroom of additional district and sessions judge Manoj Kumar maintained both Kuraishi brothers — both Khurshid along with Abdullah — along with eight other people accountable for murder, criminal conspiracy, extortion and other offences under the IPC and the Arms Act.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 2.6 lakh on every one of the convicts.
Besides Khurshid along with Abdullah, the court declared capital penalty for Anwar Kuraishi, Guddu Miyan, Shamsher Miyan, Phurchan Miyan, Babli Miyan, Ahmad Miyan, Raju Khan and also Tausif Alam.
Assistant people prosecutor Nagendra Prasad Singh stated Imran was murdered in his store in Shobha Market in Dharman Chowk on December 6, 2018.
“His brother Akil Ahmad has been hurt from the heavy shooting.
The FIR naming the 10 convicts was lodged on the grounds of all Akil’s statements” Khurshid’s gang had attempted to cut off Rs 10 lakh out of Imran, which he refused to cover.
This comes following a courtroom in Andhra Pradesh’s Ongole in May sentenced to death 12 members of a group held accountable of six murders around the Chennai-Kolkata street in 2008.
