Mumbai: There are 10 districts in the state that have a weekly lead (WPR) level higher than the average of 24%.
These districts are those where the Covid-19 case soared and the list did not include Mumbai.
Graph topping is the Nashik district, which reported the WPR nearly 39% for the week ended January 19.
Pune followed by WPR 38.5% and Raigad reported 31% WPR.
Instead, Mumbai, where the third wave of ebbing, has a wpr 18.5%, lower than Dhule and Nandurbar.
WPR takes into account the total number of tests conducted in a week and positive cases detected in them.

Pradeep still said that Omicron-Covid Wave in Mumbai and neighboring districts, such as Thane and Palghar, have declined, but other districts show an increase.
Kaseload daily in seven days has passed more than 18,000 in Pune and more than 6,000 in Nagpur.
“If the waves in these districts are similar to Mumbai waves, which rise and highlands quickly, then we must see a decline in most Maharashtra districts in the next one or two weeks,” said Dr.
Dragon.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the district which has a higher level of prospective than the average state has been asked to increase testing and ensure that people treated in the house quarantine are monitored regularly.
A doctor said that nearly 33% of the country’s population had been infected with a virus and 33% were exposed.
“In the remainder of this month, the remaining 33% will also be exposed to Omicron.
Omicron waves must end at the end of February in Maharashtra,” he said.
The State Health Department experts believe that omicron-covid waves are not only mild, but do not require special care or oxygen support for people.
“This wave is very light so that if there is no supervision because of a pandemic, we will not pay attention to it at all.
More than 80% of patients asymptomatic or suffer from symptoms such as cold,” he said.
