10 of the 11 main marathwada dams hold more than 75% direct stock

Aurangabad: Ten of the 11 large irrigation projects, including the Jayakwadi Dam, in the Marathwada region has more than 75% of live storage ahead of summer next summer.

Among the main dams, Jayakwadi, who supplied water to Aurangabad and other parts of the region, has 85% direct storage.
Majalgaon (84%) and Manjra (93%), who supplied water to Beed drought districts, and lower dudhna (90%) and Sina Kolegaon (95%), which served Osmanabad Regency, also had large storage.
Jaiish rents, assistant engineers with the liability of the Regional Development of the GMIDC command, said that the marathwada drinking water needs will generally be enough until July 31 given the storage in the dam.
