10 TN districts can receive rainfall above normal from NE Monsun

Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has expected normal rainfall above for 10 districts in the remaining state of the regency, including Coimbatore, will receive near the normal near northeast of October and December.
According to TNAU, normal rainfall expected in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Tiruvalur, Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram.
Normal rainfall (plus or minus 10% of the long-term average rainfall) It is expected in Ariyalur, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Dindigul, Erode, Kanyakumari, Kalakurichi, Karur, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Namakkal, Perambal, Pudukkottai, Salem, Sivaganga, Thanjavur, Theni, Nilgiris, Tiruchirappalli, Tenkasi, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Tirupathur, Tiruppur, Virudhunagar and Vellore.
Chennai is expected to receive 880mm rainfall, around 12% higher than normal rainfall, while Coimbatore will receive 320mm which is 7% lower than normal rainfall.
Madurai will receive a normal shower, about 420mm and trichy, 390mm, which is 1% lower than normal rainfall.
Tirupur, Erode and Salem each will receive 280mm, 370mm and 310mm, more or less normal rainfall received by these districts.
Although some districts are seen receiving lower rainfall than their long-term average, their deviations in 10% and are therefore considered normal rainfall, the government said TNAU.
Farmers in the Cauvery Delta district can rejoice because all districts in Central TN are expected to receive higher rainfall than their average, although a little.
Forecasts are served with a 60% probability level, the statement from TNAU said.
