Columbia: Ten countries have filed a lawsuit to stop the Covid-19 vaccine mandate Covid-19 President Joe Biden for Federal Contractors, on the grounds that these requirements violate federal law.
Lawyers General from Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming enrolled in the lawsuit, submitted in the Federal District Court in Missouri on Friday.
Countries asked federal judges to block Biden requirements that all federal contracting employees were vaccinated against Coronavirus, arguing that the mandate violated the law of federal procurement and was a federal force that was too convincing.
“If the federal government tries to mobilize his will and force federal contractors to mandate vaccination, labor and business can be destroyed, further worsening the supply chain and labor crisis,” said a lawyer Missouri Eric Schmitt, a Republic, said in a statement.
“The federal government should not mandate vaccinations, and that is why we filed a lawsuit today – to stop this illegal, unconstitutional action.” General Prosecutor Republic of New Hampshire John Formella said in a statement that the covid vaccine was safe, effective and driven but that the benefits “did not justify violating the law.” Biden argues that the sweeping vaccine mandate will help end the deadly pandemic, but the Republicans nationally has opposed vaccination requirements and has threatened to bring similar legal challenges.
Florida filed a separate lawsuit against a federal mandate on Thursday.
That the lawsuit also accused the President not to have the authority to issue rules and that it violates the law of procurement.
