100 Transportation employees who were fired were restored in K’Taka

Bengaluru: Minister of Transportation B Sriramulu on Thursday said 100 employees of the State Transportation Business participating in a 15-day strike in April 2021 had been restored.
He said 1,353 employees were fired during strikes, including 100 have regained their work.
The rest will also be retrieved, except for those who experience violence and have a registered shot against them.
The Minister urges transport employees not to attack and lose their jobs.
“There is no provision to restore the employees who are dismissed, but we refer to them to humanitarian reasons,” he said.
He said 700 employees would be restored by the end of this month and others in the coming months.
“We have convinced employees that salaries will be paid every month without delay,” added the minister.
