Officials added that the frontline workers like that mainly included police staff and civil body staff.
As far as health staff, they are mainly employees from private health care facilities.
There are around 5,000 personnel in each of the two groups.
The government offices and private health institutions have been identified and letters have been issued for all their staff to get the second dose.
Dr.
Neeraj District Immunization Officer Agarwal said, “Letters removed for all such departments themselves asked them to complete vaccination within two weeks.” Officials notify that there is a vaccine doubt among city corporate employees and they are not advancing for vaccination drives for frontline workers along with health workers that occur.
Their vaccination was delayed and carried out after several reminders from the district administration and the Ministry of Health.
They did not show interest in getting the second dose, they said.
