Coimbatore: Kuniyamuthe police seize a ton of tobacco products forbidden from a truck in Road Mill Road-Palakkad Road Junction on Thursday.
The police team led by Sub-Inspector Ganesh Kumar has stopped the vehicle during an ordinary vehicle check and found the valuable antup item hidden under a vegetable bag.
Police arrested F Ibrahim, 38, from Kumaran Garden in Kuniyamuthur.
The product was brought from MySuru and transported to Kerala, to Ibrahim told the police.
Police are looking for Abbas and Sulaiman in connection with this case.
