Coimbatore: Unknown people have penetrated the house of a businessman at Velasvan Nagar Extension near Maniyakarampalayam here and made of gold ornaments weighing 101 sovereign.
Police Saravanampatti said the thieves had hit the house of K Dhinakanakan, 44, on Jalan Maniyakarampalayam when he went at the Tiruchendur temple to give prayers with his wife Ishwarya, 34, son AkshayakeThan, 16, and Putri Anu Roopa, 14.
“He became a steel business in Velbakinar Near Thudiangur.
” According to a police officer, Dhinakanan has locked his house on Sunday afternoon and went to Tempuchendur Temple along with his family members.
“When he returned home on Monday night, he found the key to the door to the first floor broken open ornaments and gold with a weight of 101 sovereign disappearance from the steel locker on the ground floor.
The thieves have left 30 other sovereign gold.” The officer said while the thief had been Positioning CCTV cameras so they don’t get their pictures, their efforts are in vain.
