DELHI: Delhi documented 1,044 cases of mucormycosis or black fungus and 89 deaths because of this disease till Wednesday, wellness minister Satyendar Jain explained.
He explained 92 patients have regained until today, while pointing out that there’s a lack of medications to deal with the disease.
The Delhi high court on Wednesday stated if the city authorities couldn’t guarantee that people obtained the two doses of Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin in the specified period, it shouldn’t have started numerous vaccination centers with”much pomp and splendour”.
“The vaccination programme has been prepared in line with the program supplied by the Centre.
However, they changed the program.
In the event the Covaxin supply could have been arriving, we’d have administered the next doses to individuals.

Delhi reported 576 new coronavirus cases in a positivity rate of 0.78 percent on Wednesday.
