Madurai: The District Children’s Protection Unit has so far identified 108 children who have lost at least one parent to Covid-19 in Madurai.
With the process to verify 250 more recipients that occur, the number is expected to increase.
The DCPU source said the Ministry of Health had provided a list of around 1,100 people who died of Covid-19 in the Madurai district.
