Vadodara: Vadodara Western Railway Railway Division has implemented a group insurance scheme which covers more than 10,000 employees.
With the approval of all unions and recognized associations, Vadodara Railway Division has implemented a LIC group insurance scheme for 10,628 employees from the Benevolent Division Railway Manager (DRM) fund.
Employees who chose voluntarily for the scheme had been borne underneath, DrM Amit Gupta informed Wednesday.
Gupta informs that under the RS 1 Lakh Life Insurance scheme is available for those who expire when operating on any reason – natural, disease, covid among others to the annual premium Rs 420 per person.
“This scheme is expected to provide some direct assistance to family members who died,” he said.
