Rajkot: Eleven Officials of the Income Tax Department (I-T) from Ahmedabad was injured when their buses traveled crashing into a roadside tree near Somasar Village in the Surendranagar District on Tuesday morning.
The injured was first taken to C US Shah Medical College in Surdendranagar and then referred to the hospital in Ahmedabad for further treatment.
The incident occurred around 5am on Tuesday.
The police said that the driver was suspected that the driver fell asleep while driving a bus.
I-T officials were on their way from Ahmedabad to Rajkot to join Rajkot-based Rajkot attacks.
What was injured was identified as Rajkumar Gupta, Amit Gupta, Ojas Parikh, Rohit Thakkar, Umashakar Prasad, Prakash Thakkar, Dodia, Shraddha Nagarbhai, Komalben, Kaaj Valabhai and the driver.
