Ahmedabad: Eleven Again people at the Institute of India Management Ahmedabad have been tested positive for Coronavirus, increasing the calculation of infection in leading business schools to 81 in the past two weeks, said Iima on Thursday.
Of the 98 people tested on Tuesday by the health team, reports 11 positive out for Coronavirus, the Institute said in the release.
A total of 81 people, including 11, have been found infected by Coronavirus from December 31, 2021 to January 11, 2022, according to the IIMA dashboard.
These include students, faculty members, employees, contractual staff, community members and others, he said.
“Everyone who has been tested positively on Iima is on the road to recovery without serious cases.
At present, around 95 percent asymptomatic and 5 percent of those who are omitted do not have symptoms after 3-4 days of medical treatment,” said Iima in a statement.
Among 81 were found infected since December-end, 67 cases were still active, including 34 students, six faculty members and 27 others, in accordance with the Dash Covid-19 Institute.
Since September 2020, a total of 543 people, including 214 students, at IIM have been tested positive for Coronavirus and from them, 476 has recovered, he said.
