Lucknow: The identity of Election Wiswanath Kharwar has been voter from Sundari Village from Duddhi’s assembly chair (amounting to 403 of the 403 elections) in Sonbhadra UP Regency but after this year’s election, his identity will change forever.
The reason: Sundari is one of the 11 Duddhi constituency villages that will slip into history because the area will be eaten by the waters of Kanhar dam project which is expected to operate at the end of this year.
At the threshold, Vishwanath only hopes to get a better deal for his grandchildren as a substitute for their ancestral lands and heritage.

Irrigation department officials said more than 65% of land for projects had been obtained but some refused to support them.
Prasad said the villagers demanded that the amount of compensation must multiply, at least one family member who was moved provided a job, a house under AVAS YOJA YOJA and agricultural land.
Shiva Prasad from Bhisur Village said: “We are farmers and land acquisition will affect our lives.
Agricultural land will at least give us food to eat.” The constituency has more than 3.1L 1,085 margin voters.
Gond was elected MLA from here in 1985, 1989, 1991, 1993 and 2002.
There were more than 3.1 lakh selection in elections.
Three countries benefited from the Projectlaunched in 1976, Kanhar Dam Project aims to benefit the parts, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
The project began with the estimated cost of Rs 27.75 Crore but swelled into an estimated RS 2,000 crore due to delays.
Under the project, 39 meters high and a 3.2km long dam will be built to store 0.15 million acre of water.
It also includes 121km long channel construction to irrigate more than 35,000 hectares of agricultural land which will benefit 108 villages in Duddhi and block the construction of Sonbhadra Chopal.
In the process, around 2,500 families must be moved.
