PUDUCHERRY: Madurai Lok Sabha MP Su Venkatsan (CPM) has urged the Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan to direct the University of Pondicherry to attract ‘illegal and arbitrary’ orders’ examining 11 students from joining the next five years and forcing a fine of RS 10,000 each Each of them to participate in protests demand universities to attract increased costs.
In a letter addressed to Pradhan, the MP said the University of Pondicherry students protested peacefully demanding administration to revoke a 300% increase in the fee in February-March 2020.
He said the University moved Madras High Court, which directed PU and students’ councils to Resolve this problem peacefully.
The council called protest following the direction of the High Court and believed that the university would respect the direction of the High Court.
“In the great violations of the norms of democracy, not only the University of Pondicherry refused to negotiate with the student council, they had gone ahead to sacrifice students who increased legitimate concerns.

Venkatessan shows that the university takes advantage of the high court vacation so arbitrary steps cannot be legally challenged.
The university awaits the conclusion of the parliamentary winter session before issuing notification of performances that allows to increase problems in parliament.
Students raise problems that influence their education, especially from students from weaker parts of the community.
MP regrets that the University targets students in the most vengeful way, which will affect their future.
“It is also an effort to reduce freedom of examination of students on campus, which is their constitutional right,” he said.
