Chennai: All districts continue to report less than 200 cases for the third consecutive day on Monday, when they add 1,657 new cases, a decrease from 1,697 reported on Sunday.
However, 11 districts including Thanjavur, Vellore and Dharmapuri reported a marginal increase in new cases.
On Monday, Coimbatore reported 189 cases, the highest in the state was attended by 186 in Chennai.

Erode (117) and Chengalpet (113) are two other districts to report cases in three digits on Monday, but cases in these two districts fell from 118 on Sunday.
Overall, 15 districts reported less than 20 cases each.
Tenkasi and the screens that report five cases each have the lowest number of new cases.
Of the 19 deaths, there were five in Coimbatore, three in Chennai and two each in Thanjavur and Dharmapuri.
Seven districts reported one death, while 27 other districts reported zero death.
