Mumbai: Eleven people were arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 4-month-old girl and sold it for Rs 4.8 lakh to Tamil Nadu-based civil engineer, an official said on Tuesday, adding that the baby had been saved by two Mumbai police teams from.

A probe began after a 50-year-old woman identified as Anwari Abdul Shaikh told the VP Road police that a baby was kidnapped by one Ibrahim Shaikh on January 3, after that a case was registered for the kidnapping and trade of underage people, he said.
