Thiruvananthapuram: The country on Monday reported 8,063 new Covid-19 cases with a test level of test (TPR) of 9.44% when 84,445 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
A total of 110 deaths were recently confirmed because Covid and the assigned victims in the country had surged up to 12,990.
At the same time, 11,529 patients recovered from disease and currently there are 96,012 patients in medicine in the state.
Among new cases, 7,463 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infection’s contact sources cannot be traced to 495.
There are 48 health professionals among those infected and 57 people have arrived from outside the country.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases – 1,100, followed by thrissur (944), Kollam (833), Malappuram (824), Kozhikode (779), Ernakulam (721), Palakkad (687), Kasaragod (451), alappuzha (451)) , Kannur (450), Kottayam (299), Pathanamthitta (189), Wayanad (175), and Idukki (98).
So far 27,87,496 people have recovered from Coronavirus infection in the state.
A total of 2,28,09,717 samples have been sent for testing to date.
There are a total of 3,90,230 people currently observing throughout the state, where 3,64,543 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 25,687 in isolation in hospitals.
There are 313 local bodies with TPR below 8%, 545 local bodies with TPR between 8% and 16%, 152 LSG between 16% and 24%, and 24 LSG with TPR above 24%.
