Greater Noida: A total of 112 people in the four districts suspected of being deceived in the fraud of a multi-crore “car service”, the police said on Tuesday.
More fire tends to follow in this case, they said.
On Sunday, Toi reported that two arrests were made and a case was submitted against six people, including a senior government official at the Ministry of Animal Husbandry, for allegedly committing fraud under Ruse to buy a car to transport government officials.
But, the role of the seventh defendant – Mastermind who is possible – has been deep, said an officer.
An engineer from Greater Noida, his wife and their contact was tricked by the company more than Rs 2 Crore.
Phase III Sho Vivek Trivedi said they received complaints from Noida, Agra, Lucknow and Ayodhya.
The police have arrested Deepak Chaudhary, director of the Yatra car service company.
They also identified other company directors – Local.
“Deepak and Lokpal have worked together in a transportation company, Local has drifted the idea to start a company like that.
In August 2020, they began to roping in investing in their company,” he said.
Duo defendants suck up rs 5 crore from company accounts into their own account.
“Three accounts have been found so far.
We are checking more transactions.
There is no money left in the company account and accounts accused,” Trivedi said.
The probe lights up to see where the money is spent.
“It is possible that they have invested in flat or other properties,” he said.
