Bhubaneswar: around 11,200 students have locked their chosen to take part in counseling, carried out by the entry exam authority with Odisha (OJEE), to be accepted in Btech, Barch, BPLAN, BCAT and integrated MSC courses.
That, interested in taking entrance tickets in engineering and related professional courses, has locked their choice to choose their favorite college.
Of the 11,200 candidates, most have chosen BTECH courses during the choice locking process, which ended on Friday night.
Although the country has more than 30,000 engineering seats, only 30 percent will be filled through Ojee counseling that is ongoing.
Empty chairs will be filled by college at their level.
“Higher education can register students with OJEE rating,” OJee official said.
In accordance with the revised date of Ojee counseling, the first-round seat allotment will be published on November 9.
Students will report online for payment of seat confirmation and upload documents between November 9 (17:00) and November 12).
If a student does not want to continue with the counseling process, he can withdraw from the process on November 13 (17:00).
The second round of allotment will be published on November 18 at 5 pm.
Candidates can report online to enter between November 18 and 20.
The students allocated with seats can withdraw from the process between November 18 and 21.
The OJEE authority will issue a final allotment round on November 25 (5PM).
