Prayagraj: Intending to join villages of distant regions of the district, that don’t have thrown bituminous all-weather streets for linking those cities into the principal streets, the Public Works Department (PWD) has taken up a pilot project.
Below this job, 113 villages are identified in various assembly parts of the district where those pitched streets are constructed.
Of those, pitched roads in 33 villages are assembled by financing via National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) whereas for the remainder 80 cities, the state administration could be providing the capital.
These important streets would connect villages with a complete population of 250 or more.
While the duration of streets under the NABARD strategy needs become at least 1 kilometre or more, in the event of streets constructed by country government capital, these streets might be less than one km in length.
Chief engineer, PWD (Prayagraj), AK Agarwal explained,”Function for linking these 113 villages could be taken on top priority.
