Pune: Covid-19 recovery every day goes beyond new cases after a long gap in the Pune metropolitan area on Sunday.
A total of 1,078 people tested the positive virus on Friday, pushing the total case of PMR to 10.64,073.
At the same time, 1,162 patients were issued, pushing the total recovery in the region to 10.35.407, according to the daily report issued by the District Health Office of Twelve people surrendered to the region on the five days in PimPRI, two in Pimpri Chinchwad, and five in a rustic bag.
It took the death toll PMR to 18,093.
A total of 18,870 samples were tested at PMR on Sunday.
With this, the level of peposititivity Sunday for the region reached 5.7%.
So far, 57.97,219 samples have been tested at PMR.
On Friday, there were 10,573 active cases in the region – 5,848 patients were hospitalized, while 4,725 people chose to isolate the house.
PMC recorded 287 new cases and 228 recovery, while Pimpri Chinchwad added 214 patients and reported 250 release.
As for all regions – rural belts contributed 577 cases and 684 recovery, the city council added 93 patients and recovery of 116, and Canton had 12 new cases and 18 disposal.
In accordance with the PMC data, within its limits, 491 patients were treated with oxygen support, while 227 was very important.
