Pune: A total of 1,170 patients recovered from Covid-19 in the Metropolitan Pune (PMR) region on Wednesday to fight 1,125 people who tested the transmission here in the last 24 hours.
While rural areas add 606 new cases, PMC and PCMC limits recorded 294 and 221 new cases.
PMC and PCMC areas report more recovery compared to new patients.
347 patients recovered in the PMC limit and 227 in the PCMC area.
The total release calculation in the region has increased above 10.54 lakh, while the positive kasel has reached 10.81 lakh.
The region reported 16 deaths again on Wednesday because of infection.
Seven patients were killed in PMC and rural areas respectively, while two deaths were reported in the Pimbri Chinchwad area.
Calculation of death in this region increased to 18,275 on Wednesday, including 8,749 deaths from PMC limits.
Meanwhile, the number of patients active in this region fell to 9,265 on Wednesday night, including 4,159 patients in house isolation.
