New Delhi: Twelve BJP MLA from Maharashtra on Thursday moved the Supreme Court to challenge their one-year suspension from the state legislature because of the alleged seventh event with officers.
On July 5, this 12 MLA was suspended from the assembly for one year after the State Government accused them of “bad behavior” with the Jadhav Bhaskar chairman officers in the speaker room.
Advocate Abhikat Pratap Singh said he had submitted a petition in the APEX court on behalf of this MLA and they had challenged the resolution passed by the Assembly to suspend members of this parliament for one year.
12 Members suspended are – Sanjay Kute, Ashish Shelar, Abhimanyu Pawar, Girish Mahajan, Atul Bhatkhalki, Parag Alavani, Harish Pimpale, Yogesh Sagar, Jay Kumar Rawat, Narayan Kuche, Ram Satty and Bunty Bhangdia.
