Nagpur: The incline to the top steep Covid graph continues for the fifth consecutive day on Friday.
The number of new cases reported in the last 24 hours reached 8,549, the highest in this wave so far.
While cases are increasing, 12 deaths are reported in the Vidarbha region, again the highest in the third wave.
Apart from the death of seven nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Akola and Buldhana reported one Covid death respectively.
However, most patients die are incidental findings from Covid.
They underwent treatment for several other diseases and incidentally found positive for Covid too.
The positive test (TPR) of Vidarbha approaches a 30% mark on Friday.
Of the 28,959 tests carried out, 8549 positive, classified TPR at 29.52%.
In Nagpur, 13,093 tests were carried out, from the 4763 found positively – a TPR close by 37%.
This can be the main indicator of the case graph to reach its peak on Vidarbha.
Experts have said that up to 9,000 cases will be reported every day with a positive rate of more than 30% during the peak.
All districts report new cases in three points on Friday.
The recovery count on Friday was 3445, which was less than yesterday 3,644.
The overall level of regional recovery has been reduced to 94.8%, falls below 95% for the first time in the third wave.
More than 39,000 patients were under treatment in the region.
However, the majority of them are in the isolation house.
In Nagpur, 21,719 patients were under treatment.
Chandrapur: The 2243 Covid tests carried out in the last 24 hours revealed 607 new cases on Friday.
There are 262 recovery and one death.
It has left 2,926 patients under treatment.
Case load has increased to 93,084, which includes 88,575 recovery and 1,547 deaths.
As many as 8,29,876 samples have been tested so far and 7,34,854 have been found negative.
Amravati: This district is only 131 ashamed to reach one lakh case Covid as a new 525 case taking a case load for 99,869 on Friday.

Although no Covid death, 253 recovery from the day took a total for 95,843 for a recovery rate of 95.97%.
It left 2424 patients under treatment.
Wardha: the district reported two deaths from Coronavirus, 501 new cases and 197 recovery on Friday, took a case burden, recovery and toll 52,521, 49.133 and 1,330 each.

This made 1,998 patients under treatment.
Yavatmal: Regency reports 368 new Covid patients in the last 24 hours.

237 patients recovered.
Now, 2,041 patients are under care in bulldhana.
Gadchiroli: A 40-year-old man, patients who knew crescent cell anemia, died at Gadchiroli on Friday.
He is covid-positive too.
It takes the Gadchiroli toll for 752.
There are 1,027 tests in the region.
From them, 221 was found positively.
Now, 1,088 patients are under treatment.
Washim: There are 155 new cases and 114 recovery on Friday on Washim.
This district now has 42,700 total Covid cases, with 41,394 of them recovering and 639 deaths.
666 patients are under treatment.
Gondia: There are 1,352 tests at the Gondia in the last 24 hours and 210 of them were found positive.
The amount of recovery on Friday is 150.
Now, the Gondia has 1,160 patients under treatment.
Bhandara: District is conducted by 2,920 tests in the last 24 hours and 409 of them positive.
