Rajkot: A total of 12 people under Covid-19 treatment died in the Saurashtra area on Saturday.
According to the figure provided by the Ministry of Health, one person died in the city of Rajkot and two in rural Rajkot.
The city of Jamnagar reported the deaths of three people while one person died in the city of Bhavnagar, four in the rural Bhavnagar.
One death was recorded in Porbandar too.
In Rajkot, the number of new positive cases decreased to 137 of 237 on Friday.
The total active case in the city was 2,677 cities after 714 patients were repatriated on Saturday.
In the city of Jamnagar, 73 people were tested positive while 55 were found infected in the Bhavnagar district on Saturday.
