Patna: Counts of Covid-19 Daily in the state increased from 37 on Monday to 60 on Tuesday.
However, there were no deaths reported because of Covid-19 in the state in the last 24 hours.
Also, no districts have new cases in two digits.
Twelve districts report zero cases.
Patna has the highest number of cases (9), followed by Khagaria (6) and Aurangabad (4).
District-district with zero fresh case is Banka, Buxar, Champaran Timur, Gopalgad, Jehana, Kaiur, Lakhisarai, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi and Siwan.
Patna continued to have the highest number of 55 active cases, followed by Samastipur (27) and Sitamarhi (27).
Gopalganj, Siwan, Jehana, Sheohar, Nawada and Kaimur have no active cases on Tuesday, while 16 other districts report the appropriate numbers in one digit.
The state has a total of 383 active cases after 77 patients recovered from infection in the last 24 hours.
The level of Bihar recovery reached 98.62%, which was 1.24% higher than the national average of 97.38%.
Meanwhile, Minister of Health Mangal Pandey said the state-level training program was launched for public health workers to overcome the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
This training was delivered by a coach of the National Health System Resources Center (NHSRC), New Delhi, with the support of UNICEF.
The minister said about 90,000 Asha and ANM workers would be trained in the state.
“The purpose of the training program is to develop an understanding of Covid-19 management among frontline workers.
This training also aims to understand the symptoms and refer children to the health care center needed at the right time,” Pandey said.
