Jaipur: Twelve Helipads will be built in Rajasthan on the Delhi-Mumbai toll road for medical emergencies, defense related activities and other purposes.
Of all the Helipads, four will be developed at Dausa, Six in Arab Sawai Madhopur and two in the city, said Pawan Kumar, Head of General Manager (CGM), Ro-Jaipur, Nhai.
Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia recently said the center planned to develop a helipad along the main highway so that accident victims could be evacuated using helicopters from the place.
Under the Delhi-Mumbai toll road project 1.380-km, 374 km will be in Rajasthan which includes Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bundi and City.
First Phase Project RS 95,000 Crore – Delhi-Dausa-Lussot (214 km) and Vadodara-Ankleshwar (100 km) – Will be made open for traffic in March 2022.

“Helipads are being developed especially for the purposes of people who lift the air that is injured by an accident.
This will be used for multipurpose activities because it is a government property,” Kumar said.
However, there is no direct connection between Jaipur and Jodhpur under the Expressway project.
Jaipur is connected to Jodhpur through Pachpadra in Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor, which is 40 km from Jodhpur.
