Jaisalmer: At least 12 people, including a baby, was killed and 39 others were very burned after the bus hit by a traveler in an Inferno after crashing into the trailer down the wrong track from the Barmer-Jodhpur highway on Wednesday.
The accident occurred near Bhandarawas in the Barmer desert district shortly after the bus left Balotra for Jodhpur about 9.5 hours, police said.

A six-month-old baby died to burn in the hospital.
A villagers identified as Chainaram were the first to enter the Burning bus and save them trapped inside.
He and several other residents of the area took the risk of their lives to save around 18 passengers, said the survivors.
Officials are afraid that the number of victims can increase because many are injured in critical conditions.
Ten of them were being treated at a government hospital while the other 12 had been treated in private hospitals in Balotra.
Perlese deployed by the government struggled to enter the hot bus and even hours after the flame had been watered, police said.
