Coimbatore: The thief flew a house in Kavundampalayam and looted 12 sovereign gold ornaments on Saturday.
The owner of the house v Lakshmipathi, 64, from Aditya Avenue, runs a furniture store in Kavundampalayam.
“He locked his house on Saturday morning and went to the store.
He returned in the afternoon and found a broken front door lock and the golden chain and the necklace was lost,” said a police officer.
Thudiangur police have registered the case.
