12 students in Jaipur + VE school tests; Class canceled

Jaipur: A total of 12 students from private schools in Jaipur were tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, city medical health workers (CMHO) confirmed on Tuesday.
After this, school authorities canceled classes for 6 to 12 to Saturday standards.
All infected students come from the hostel on the Jayshree Perwal International School (JPI) school campus, which is located in Mahapura in Jaipur-Ajmer Road.
Health officials said that they had sent a team to help school to follow procedures relating to the outbreak.
Contrary to the claims of the medical department, the school authority told TII that 12 cases have emerged for a week and, at present, only three students are placed under quarantine in a hostel.
Last week, students from two other private schools from Jaipur had tested positive.
Dr.
Narrottam Sharma, Cmo, Jaipur I, said, “Grade 11 was tested positive for Covid on Sunday.
After this, the school got 185 staff members and students at the hostel to take the test.
Arrived the day.
Our fast response team Being in school and conducting activities such as contact contacts.
“But Jayshree Perwal, Chairperson, JPI, said that 12 students were reportedly infected during the past week.
“Only three are placed under quarantine here while others have gone to their original place, Delhi.
Following the rules, class 6-12 has been declared closed until uncertainty is complete.
The school works under the guidance of the Sawai Hospital Man Singh.
Parents have been Notified of the decision via email.
Online class will be run as usual, “said Perwal.
Medical reports say that all students do not show symptoms.
Standard operating guidelines or procedures (SOP) released by the House Department said that the class must be closed for 10 days if a positive case occurs.
However, it doesn’t say anything about the rules that must be followed if there is a small or large outbreak that is reported at school.
Reacting to the situation, the inter-Singh Nehra District collector said that schools must be closed for a minimum of 10 days to prevent the spread according to the guidelines.
“In addition to closing the affected class, it is a prerogative school right to cover all blocks, wings or institutes for the benefit of all parties,” Nehra said.
