Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said the Road Construction Department (RCD) has identified 120 places throughout the state to build a bypass road to ensure easy traffic movements.
Overcoming the RCD event after inaugurating four highways (SHS) newly built / widened (SHS), Nitish said the government had decided to build a bypass road in the urban area under the program ‘when Nischay Part-2’ to ensure free traffic movements.
“We have decided to build flyovers in urban areas where there will be problems in the availability of land for expansion / widening of the road,” he said.
The four shs, inaugurated by CM, was built at a cost of RS1,121 Crore.
Their total length is 130km.
The four highway countries are Ghogha-Panwara SH-84, Akbarpur-Amarpur SH-85, Bihia-Jagdishpur-Piro-Danwar Bihta SH-102 and Birpur-Udakishungaj SH-91.
CM further said the inauguration of the fourth shs will provide comfort for people on the way from one place to another in the state.
“Every time people in other places cross Bihar, they praise the quality of roads in the state.
They also praised the scenario of law and order as a whole in the state,” Nitish said.
CM calls RCD officials to ensure the maintenance maintenance of the right and regular state and other roads.
He asked officials to ensure road maintenance and bridges only through department engineers and not by private institutions and contractors.
“The maintenance of roads by department engineers will not only ensure routine monitoring but also minimizes expenses,” Nitish said while advising RCD engineers to run maintenance work with full dedication.
“If you run road maintenance work in the right way and visit the construction site regularly, people who live in rural areas will give you more honor than the representatives of the people,” Nitish, the one own is an engineer with qualifications, told you RCD engineer.
Both representatives of CMS, Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi, Nitin Navin RCD Minister and Secretary of the Head of the RCD Amrit Lal Meena also discussed the event.
