Gurgaon: A total of 1,268 pregnant women received their first Covaxin Jab in 34 government centers in the city on Monday.
Three bad events after immunization cases (AEFI) were recorded during the day and women mostly complain about nausea and vomiting.
Under Pradhan Mantri Sureshit Matritva Abhiyan, a pregnant woman will be inoculated at 34 sites on the 9th of each month, officials said.

Ashima, was responsible for the Primary Health Center of Wazirabad, where several women were inoculated on Monday, said the Ministry of Health team was driving consciousness and encouraging women to take vaccines.
“Workers Anms and Asha also went to many regions,” he said.
Gurgaon registered 3,000-3,500 pregnancies every month and every year, the city recorded 35,000-40,000 shipping.
Officials said Pradhan Mantri Sureshit Matritva Abhiyan aims to provide free antenatal care.
“Under this scheme, we plan to get ultrasound facilities at 34 inoculation sites,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
“Safe for pregnant women to take vaccines,” he added.
On Tuesday, 68 government session sites will be open to vaccination drives.
Of this number, 58 centers will manage covishield.
Nine sites will manage covaxin and sputnik v will be available in one center.
On Monday, 12,247 people in the age group of 18-44 years inoculated.
In 45 years and above the category, 2,818 people took photos.
A total of 85 health care and 213 frontline workers were also implemented.
Overall, 15,363 Jab is managed.
The first number of doses is 9,794 and the second dose is 5,569.
3 new cases in Gurgaon City recorded three new Covid cases on Monday, taking the calculation to 1,80,948.
At present, there are 76 active cases and the level of participants stand as 0.1%.
Five people have recovered in the last 24 hours and the total number of recovery was at 1,79,951.
The recovery rate is 99.6%.
While 73 people were in house isolation, three were in the hospital.
