12,000 told Delhi which was more habitable

New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority has received more than 12,000 suggestions and objections regarding the design of the parent plan for Delhi 2041, which was put into the public domain 75 days ago.
Monday is the last day to submit a public input.
Draft MPD41, it is intended as a strategic framework and allows for sustainable and habitable Delhi in two decades, made open to the public on June 9, originally for 45 days but then extended until August 23.
DDA official said 12,099 advice or objections received until 6pm on Monday, where 7,337 received by post, 362 via email and 4,400 in the form of comments on the agency portal.
Portal View traffic traffic claimed 63,062 and has 5,151 registered users.
The official said that suggestions and objections will now be the target of public public hearings on various problems such as the environment, transportation and housing that are most likely in October.
Dda plans to tell MPD41 at the end of this year or most, at the beginning of next year.
Among the many suggestions was submitted by saving our city campaign, a group of Rwas umbrellas, NGOs and activists, who have held mixed land use policies because they are the cause of chaos in the city.
This campaign argues that the policy has driven rampant commercialization, which has increased congestion and add pressure on infrastructure such as water, energy, road and parking.
“The MPD41 draft seems to be a document of hope rather than redemption.
Failed to overcome the problem of this city wrestling,” Rajiv Kakria maintained, holding a campaign.
The Kavior group said, “The commercialization of housing colonies is a nightmare and the environment, not to mention the impact on social fabrics.
Delhi has become an endless urban forest in the seismic zone IV with a sign of signs and livelihoods and unplanned rickety structures, all of which are the result of MPD21 Disabled.
“Among DDA’s suggestions and objections received is one of the East Delhi Front Joint on the issue of increasing the number of vehicles in the city and the lack of adequate parking.
“Strangely, Delhi has more than 75 lakh vehicles in 2019, but the parking spaces available are less than one lakh vehicle,” the front word.
“And the government has not introduced a check on vehicle sales in the city.” Arguing that the existing parking norm failed to solve the problem, BS Vohra, the President’s front, proposed that although 20% of the land area in Delhi consisting of roads, residents must “face traffic congestion in almost every corner, contributing to air and environmental pollution in the city “.
Manoj Misra, Convener, Yamuna Jiye Abhiyan, said that when he welcomed the MPD-2041 draft who said in advance that the focus was in the environment, it should not be taken as a independent subject.
“The environment is not just a chapter, but must look for in all chapters related to transportation, residence, infrastructure, etc., because of the comprehensive environment,” Misra argued.
“The environment in Delhi is not only yamuna and ridge, it is also air and water quality and quality of life per se.” He added it by treating the environment as just one of the subjects that was controversial, justice could not be fully done for it.
