12,229 students in Pune Division are immunized in college

Pune: 12,229 students in Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik took the vaccine against Covid-19 at their college place under a shared drive carried out by the Department of Higher Education Division and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The Ministry of Higher Education has identified around 2.1 lakh students over the age of 18 who qualified for vaccines.
Students who are fully vaccinated are permitted in college to attend classes since October 20.
The encouragement was carried out based on the state government campaign called Mission Youth Health.
Director Joint Division Pune Directorate of the State of Higher Education Kirankumar Bondar said, “After the Covid case declined, the state government allowed the offline class to students from October 20.
